Who We Are

Home Together is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Albuquerque, NM. We aim to create paths toward homeownership by bridging desire with opportunity, support, and matching contributions to savings accounts.

Our Story

Home Together is the result of members of New Creation Church and their neighbors discussing ways to empower neighborhood residents toward homeownership. The International District is a beautifully diverse and culturally rich section of Albuquerque that consists of six neighborhoods, including refugees and immigrants from Mexico, Cuba, Central America, Vietnam, Laos and the continent of Africa. 57% share a Latino/a heritage.

While there is much beauty and resilience within our community, many struggle to survive the poverty (49% below the poverty line), crime and injustice that persist at higher rates than the rest of the city. The International District is often a place where people begin when they have nothing and end up when they’ve lost everything. Our community is full of hard-working resilient people with dreams to overcome their trauma and make a better life for themselves and their families.
